TIET came to Lume with a clear challenge - its brand identity lacked consistency, with fragmented design across digital and print and no unified visual language in place. Lume stepped in to streamline and refine TIET's identity. We introduced a cohesive design language that aligned with the vision, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. More than just a visual upgrade, we helped TIET recognize the power of branding, transforming its presence across print and digital to reinforce its standing on a national scale.
When TIET partnered with Nvidia, they wanted to visually represent this collaboration while maintaining subtlety due to branding restrictions. The challenge was to convey the impact of AI integration without making the collaboration the focal point.
Lume crafted a compelling visual narrative that struck the right balance. We designed an illustration featuring TIET's iconic building sitting atop a chipset, with circuit lines extending outward-symbolizing the institute's AI-powered transformation. To enhance engagement, we animated the visual, bringing the circuit lines to life as they pulsed with energy. The tagline, "Thapar Institute is now AI-empowered," succinctly reinforced the message, positioning TIET at the forefront of AI-driven education.
This approach allowed TIET to celebrate its technological leap while ensuring brand alignment and storytelling finesse.

For the "Seeking Excellence Together" campaign, Lume reimagined the visual language of TIET's "Discover Countless Possibilities" campaign, evolving its signature dots into a powerful new form. The dots transformed into human figures, each interconnected by holding hands, symbolizing collaboration and collective growth.
At the heart of the design was a star-formed where the hands met-representing excellence as the outcome of unity and shared ambition. This visual storytelling reinforced the campaign's message, showcasing how TIET fosters an environment where individuals come together to push boundaries, innovate, and achieve greatness.
Through this thoughtful evolution, Lume helped TIET convey that excellence isn't just an individual pursuit-it's something that is built together.

To celebrate Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology's (TIET) rich 67-year legacy, Lume crafted a visually striking timeline that seamlessly blended history, architecture, and the institute's vision for the future.
At the heart of the design was TIET's award-winning building-an architectural marvel recognized for its excellence. The timeline traced the institute's journey, highlighting key milestones while staying true to its evolving identity. Inspired by the “Discover Countless Possibilities” campaign, the design incorporated a series of dots that symbolized opportunities and limitless potential, tying this thought into the visual timeline.
This creative not only honored TIET's legacy but also positioned it as a forward-thinking institution, bridging the past with an expansive future of possibilities.
